Bare Knuckle Boxing started in England in 1681 and since then it’s been considered illegal and a highly dangerous sport due its origins closely related with the traditions of gypsies and travellers as well as criminal activities. In the modern times the Fist Fight is experiencing an increased popularity and people from many different social contexts decides to practice it besides the stigma upon them.

With this ongoing body of work the aim is to explore the different aspects of the combat that gave birth to the modern boxing and celebrate the history of Bare Knuckle Boxing as a part of the British heritage.
